Community Guidelines
- No nudity, sexually explicit content, obscene, defamatory or unlawful content has a place on #TheMovement
- Political commentary and discussion are important; but #TheMovement is not the place to push a political agenda
- Messages that attack or denounce individuals will not be accepted; we prefer to be positive and encourage people to grow – keep it positive
- No overt advertising. It is fine to promote your brand and products that you may sell; but the #TheMovement is about sharing information and inspiring people for the future
- Be proud of who you are - any profiles that use an alias name or do not represent a real individual may not be published; unless you engage Empower prior to inform them of your identity
- Private documents are meant to be kept that way; #TheMovement will not publish any content that posts copies of private communications or documents without explicit consent of all parties
- Spam is defined as Posting content primarily to drive traffic to, or increase the search rankings of, an external site, product, or service. #TheMovement has a no spam policy
- Copyright and trademark infringement is unfair to the original creator of the content; let’s make sure to share content that we have the right to share
- If you are to embed content or links that redirect readers to other locations whereby you may request their personal information, then expect your content to be rejected
- #TheMovement plans to abide by all local laws in its country of operation. As such we aim to follow all laws stipulated by the Government; this may mean that from time to time your content will not be approved due to a Government Takedown Request
- #TheMovement is all about sharing information that will benefit our readers and inspire them to be great. Any form of fake news or attempt to misrepresent the truth may be consider a breach to our community
#TheMovement Terms of Engagement
- Right to access and use the movement - Empower grants you a limited right to access and use the sites under the conditions as set out in the terms of use.
- Your content - by submitting, posting, or displaying your content on the movement, you grant Empower and its affiliates nonexclusive, worldwide right to collect, use, and share the information without providing you any prior notice. The accuracy, legal, intellectual property responsibility to the content remains with you.
- Limitations - In connection with permitted use of the movement you will not publish any adult content, (including nudity, sexual terms and/or images), obscene, defamatory or unlawful content, content that infringes upon the rights of any third party intellectual property, trademark or privacy, inflammatory religious or political content, Empower reserves the right to remove content that does not fit with the movement guidelines.
- Liability disclaimers – The movement, including all content therein, are provided “as is” and without warranties of any kind, express or implied, and you shall use the sites at your own risk. Empower does not warrant or make any representations regarding the use or the results of the use of the sites, including all content therein, in terms of its correctness, usefulness, accuracy, reliability, or otherwise.
- Links to other sites - The sites, including content therein, may contain links to third-party sites, websites, or applications. These links are provided as a convenience to you. Empower does not control and is not responsible for the content of such third-party sites
- Indemnity - You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless empower, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, customers and vendors, and their respective officers, directors and employees from any liability, damage, cost, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (i) any claim or demand made by any third party due to or arising out of your access to the site; (ii) your use of the service or site, and/or violation of the terms; (iii) or the infringement by you, or any third party using your movement account, of any intellectual property or other right of any person or entity.
- Termination - Empower, in its sole discretion, may terminate or suspend use of the sites at any time for any reason or for no reason at all, without prior notice or liability to you.
- Editing Rights – Empower has the full right to alter any content you post to this site without providing prior warning. Although Empower will always aim to keep your content as shared from time to time edits may be made prior to publishing content
- Publishing Rights – Empower has the full right to refuse to publish content at their free will and without any reason whatsoever. As a content generator you cannot hold any claim on Empower for not having you content published

1. General Terms and Conditions
Please read this community guidelines referenced herein as the "Terms of Service" carefully as they contain important information regarding your legal rights, remedies, and obligations.
This Community Guidelines (“Agreement”) is a contract between you (“You” or “Consultant”) and Empower Limited. (“Empower,” “we,” or “us”). You must read, agree to, and accept all of the terms and conditions contained in this Agreement to be a Consultant on our website located at www.empower.co.tz or any part of the rest of the Website.
Subject to the conditions set forth herein, Empower may, in its sole discretion, amend this Agreement and the other Terms of Service at any time by posting a revised version on the website. Empower will provide reasonable advance notice of any amendment that includes a Substantial Change, by posting the updated Terms of Service on the website, providing notice on the website, and/or sending you notice by email. If the Substantial Change includes an increase to Fees charged by Empower, Empower will provide at least 30 days’ advance notice of the change, but may not provide any advance notice for changes resulting in a reduction in Fees or any temporary or promotional Fee change.
You understand that by using the Website you agree to be bound by the terms of service. If you do not accept the terms of service in its entirety, you must not access or use the Website.
If you agree to the terms of service on behalf of an entity or agency, or in connection with providing or receiving services on behalf of an entity or agency, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity or agency to the terms of service and agree that you are binding both you and that entity or agency to the terms of service. In that event, “you” and “your” will refer and apply to you and that entity or agency.
2. Registration and Acceptance
By registering for an account to use our website (an “Account”), or by clicking to accept the Community Guideline as displayed on the website, you agree to abide by this Agreement and the other Terms of Service.
To access and use certain portions of the website, you must register for an Account, certain portions of the website are available to website Visitors, including those portions before your Account registration is accepted. Empower reserves the right to decline a registration or to add an Account for any lawful reason, including supply and demand, cost to maintain data, or other business considerations. Empower reserves the right to decline posting your application even after you have made payment for any reason they may choose whatsoever. Empower may or may not choose to refund you in the event you have paid and then subsequently have your profile rejected.
3. Account Eligibility
Empower offers the website for business purposes only and not for personal, household, or consumer use. To register for an Account or use the Website you must, and hereby represent that you: (a) are an employee or agent of and authorized to act for and bind an independent business (whether it be as a self-employed individual/sole proprietor or as a corporation, limited liability company, or other entity); (b) will use the Website for business purposes only; (c) will comply with any licensing, registration, or other requirements with respect to your business, or the business for which you are acting, and the provision of consulting Services; and (d) are either a legal entity or an individual who is 18 years or older (or have otherwise reached the age of majority in the jurisdiction in which you conduct business) in each case who can form legally binding contracts.
4. Account Profile
To register for an Account to join the website, you must complete a User profile (“Profile”), which you consent to be shown to other Users and to be shown to the public. You agree to provide true, accurate, and complete information on your Profile and all registration and other forms you access on the website or provide to us and to update your information to maintain its truthfulness, accuracy, and completeness. You agree not to provide any false or misleading information about your identity or location, your business, your skills, or the services your business provides and to correct any such information that is or becomes false or misleading.
We reserve the right to revoke the privileges of the Account or access to or use of the website, and those of any and all linked Accounts without warning if, in our sole discretion, false or misleading information has been provided in creating, marketing, or maintaining your Profile or Account.
5. Account Permissions
You agree not to request or allow another person to create an Account on your behalf, for your use, or for your benefit, except that an authorized employee or agent may create an Account on behalf of your business and warrant that: (a) the User is authorized to act on your behalf; and (b) you are fully responsible and liable for the User’s acts.
6. Usernames and Passwords
When you register for an Account, you will be asked to choose a username and password for the Account. You are entirely responsible for safeguarding and maintaining the confidentiality of your username and password and agree not to share your username or password with any person who is not authorized to use your Account.
7. Prohibited Site Uses
You may not encourage, promote, facilitate or use the website for any activities that violate any laws and regulation; for any other illegal or fraudulent purpose or any purpose that is harmful to others; or to transmit, store, display, distribute or otherwise make available content that is illegal, fraudulent or harmful to others.
The following are examples of uses that are prohibited on the website or when using the website services:
- Seeking, offering, promoting, or endorsing and services, content, or activities that:
- are defamatory, illegal, profane, vulgar, threatening, unlawfully discriminatory, illegal, pornographic, obscene, or sexually explicit in nature;
- would violate the intellectual property rights, such as and including copyrights, of another person, entity, service, product, or website;
- are harassing toward another person based on the person's inclusion in a protected class as defined by applicable law;
- Fraudulent or misleading uses or content, including:
- misrepresenting your experience, skills, or information, including by representing another person’s profile, or parts of another person’s profile, as your own
- using a profile photo that misrepresents your identity or represents you as someone else
- impersonating any person or entity or falsely stating or otherwise misrepresenting your affiliation with a person or entity
- falsely stating that one consultant will perform the work, including submitting a proposal on behalf of a consultant that is unable, unwilling, or unavailable to do the work;
- Spamming other Users with proposals or invitations and constantly sending them requests for the purpose of purely wanting to collect data and not actually having relevant information
8. Relationship with Empower
Empower made the Website available to enable consultants and Clients to find and transact directly with each other. Empower does not introduce consultants to Clients or find Projects for consultants. Through the Website, consultants will be notified of Clients that are seeking the services they offer, and Clients may be notified of consultants that may offer the services they seek; at all times, however, Users are responsible for evaluating and determining the suitability of any Project, Client or consultants on their own. If Users decide to enter into a Service Contract, the Service Contract is directly between the Users and Empower is not a party to that Service Contract. Empower is not responsible for any behaviours or experiences that happen off the site with someone you have connected with through the site.
9. Taxes and Benefits
Consultants acknowledges and agrees that he or she is solely responsible (a) for all tax liability associated with payments received through website, and that Empower will not withhold any taxes from payments to consultants; (b) to determine whether you are required by applicable law to issue any particular invoices; (c) for determining whether the consultant is required by applicable law to remit to the appropriate authorities any value added tax or any other taxes or similar charges applicable to the consultancy Fees and remitting any such taxes or charges to the appropriate authorities, as appropriate.
